At Premier Portable Buildings, our focus is backyard storage, and we take pride in being America’s #1 provider for your backyard. To better serve all customer needs, we proudly offer Rent-To-Own (RTO) purchasing options, allowing more families the opportunity to own a Premier building.
As customers continue to personalize their buildings beyond standard storage applications, it is necessary to clarify how certain customized options will be handled under the RTO program.
Beginning May 1, 2026, the following custom or specialty options will NOT qualify to be included in the Rent-To-Own amount through Premier Portable Buildings.
Customers may still add these options to an RTO building purchase; however, these items must be paid in full upfront and included in the “Buy Down” section of the RTO contract.
The following items are excluded from RTO and must be collected upfront:
Due to the customized and personalized nature of these upgrades, payments collected for the above options will be considered non-refundable after 48 hours from the time the order is finalized.
Once production planning and material allocation begin, these customized options cannot be reversed or repurposed. For this reason:
Dealers and sales representatives are responsible for clearly communicating this policy to customers prior to contract completion.
Please ensure the following procedures are followed on all applicable sales:
This update allows Premier Portable Buildings to continue offering affordable Rent-To-Own solutions while responsibly managing highly customized building upgrades that significantly personalize the structure beyond standard inventory offerings.
We appreciate your cooperation and continued commitment to serving our customers with professionalism and transparency.

Please ensure that we are notifying Britney Choate through email ,with me copied, whenever a repo or returned trailer is brought back to the lot without plates.
In these situations, there is a possibility the trailer may already be titled in another state (such as Virginia or North Carolina). If a trailer is already titled and then resold, it can take several months to have the title transferred back into the rental company’s name and reissued to the new customer.
Before proceeding with a sale under these circumstances, please confirm with Britney Choate that the trailer is cleared for resale.
Thanks, Dylan
